I was born in Lisbon, in 1980 and since I remember I’ve been a motorsport fan, specially a NASCAR fan. I race online since 2003 and it was through sim racing that I reached the real tracks. In one of the online competitions I met the French driver Thierry Haenel, that raced in ASCAR, and he was the one who told me I should do the rookie tests for that british stock car series. I was the fastest, only with sim experience, and from then on the dream of the real cars and tracks became true.
I’ve raced in several stock car series and now racing in Euro NASCAR, the official series of NASCAR in Europe. I was the first Portuguese to do a full NASCAR Season. I also want to race in the US ovals and it’s one of the objectives this year. Follow my social channels to stay up to date!
My passion for NASCAR started very early when I followed the battles between legends like Dale Earnhardt, Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon and got even bigger after I saw the movie Days of Thunder (too many times).
I’ve raced in several stock car series in Europe and in 2021 I’ve accomplished my dream of becoming a NASCAR driver with my first season in Euro NASCAR 2.
After two seasons at the wheel of the #46 Marko Stipp Motorsport Camaro I want continue growing in this series and also race in the US NASCAR. I’ve participated recently in the ARCA Menards Series tests at Daytona and I’ve been cleared to run both in the series and at Daytona. Racing in the ARCA Menards is now a big goal too.
In addition to the real tracks, I love the virtual ones, where it all began in 2003. My favourite sim is iRacing where I race since 2011, mainly in ovals. I hope I can find you there at the track!
