Puncture ends hopes for win at Warneton

WarnetonMiguel Gomes attended his second European Late Model Series meeting in Warneton and his did his debut in the Belgian oval.

With the engine problems that happened in the British round solved the number 46 Revolution Racing chevy was fast in the practice sessions.
Forced to start in the last place in the first two races for being the first time that he raced at this track Gomes was able to pick 5 spots in the first race finishing 11º.

In the second race Gomes didn’t push too hard to benefit from the reversed grid for the final race and secured the pole position for that race. The conditions were perfect for a good result but a puncture in the warm up laps sent Gomes for a forced pit stop and down to the last place. Gomes was still able to pick two spots finishing 14º in the final race.

Final race of the season is scheduled for October 11th at the same track and Gomes participation is still to be confirmed.
